Our computer/Web-based training capabilities are specifically focused on Advanced Distributed Learning and Virtual Learning Technologies, including courseware development for interactive multimedia instruction. Our training professionals support the development of interactive courseware and computer-aided instruction using the most current version of Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software tools such as Designer’s Edge, Macromedia Attain Suite, the Asymetrix-based ToolBook 7, and ICON Author. These tools are used to develop training materials in an “object-oriented” environment that supports Web/Internet-enabled training. Training materials can also be developed for use in a virtual learning environment (a virtual or “corporate” university) to provide specific employee training.
ATC personnel support various Training System Acquisition programs. They provide training system acquisition planning and assessment. Our professionals work with various Integrated Product Teams in providing logistics analysis, development, acquisition, assessment, management and operation support. They provide for systems acquisition (development through fielding), systems project management and the DoD Programming, Planning, and Budgeting system (PPBS) based on current program acquisition documentation and requirements. They develop program milestones and management resource control procedures utilizing the most current automated management information systems. They also provide analysis on measures of effectiveness, internal financial processes, and group charter development. All efforts encompass all phases of the system life cycle specified by DoD INST 5000.
We support the development of various TSPs which is the principal document stating training requirements, manpower billets, personnel, military construction for training, and training support requirements, including TTE/TD, Test Equipment (TE) and simulators, operational equipment, training materials and technical manuals. We insure that the TSP encompasses and justifies the Manpower, Personnel and Training (MPT) program, budget submissions, and initiate programming actions throughout the weapon system acquisition process (WSAP). We base our efforts on program acquisition objectives, and provide MPT alternatives and impact analysis, in support of those objectives. We insure the TSP documents planning for meeting the training requirements of a new development, and identifies personnel required to install, operate, maintain, or otherwise use the new development being introduced.
Our ISD professionals will use the Instructional Systems Design (ISD) process as the foundation for development of all training products. The process encompasses five phases with associated Training Development Services: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. Each phase has specific activities to produce the appropriate training materials to meet our customers training development support objectives.
ATC personnel have provided for the development, revision and internal configuration control of various aviation system operations and maintenance manuals. We have created and provided internal configuration control of digitized drawings and illustrations for all manuals. Our deliverables have included, but are not limited to the following:
We have been involved in the development of a Central Technical Data Repository, with all program technical data being drawn from an intelligent file system. The repository will incorporate emerging network-based technologies and apply open architecture, reusable, data content. The program will utilize an IPT, consisting of Program Managers, Engineers, Technicians, Training analyst, Technical data personnel, and Supply personnel, to give customers a one-stop shop. The program will incorporate and maintain all Technical, Logistics, Engineering, Training Material, and Supply support data on a real time basis. The goal is 0-24 hour response time on 95% of queries, including technical data updates. The effort will employ a metrics/feedback system to monitor the effectiveness of the program.
Our training teams have performed 1,000s of hours of platform instruction in both civilian and military arenas. Topics include all aspects of computer hardware and software applications, plus soft skills training like performance management, time management and team building. Our military training includes weapons and UAV training.
Operation and Maintenance of New Equipment
We have extensive experience fielding/introduction of new equipment both CONUS and OCONUS. We’ll work as a team member or stand-alone. We are experts in the development of logistics, training, training devices, and technical documentation to support new or updated equipment.
Field Training (CONUS and OCONUS)
ATC has fielded training and maintenance teams to several military installations throughout the United States as well as overseas to Iraq, Kuwait, Taiwan, and Korea.
